What size should I get?

All feet are very different, so fitting a foot into a fixed shape foot cavity of moulded flexible material is an inexact science. We do not compare our fin sizes to shoe sizes as the construction of fins and shoes are very different.

We have tried to give you enough information to guide you to make an informed decision on the best size for your feet.

Please note that each of our fin models has its own mould, so sizes may vary between models. Original training fin, Elite II and Repellor fins are a universal foot, meaning you can wear either fin on either foot, also giving you a wider foot cavity. Our Elite and Elite MAX are specific left and right foot fit.

The sizing on our website is a 'Guide' only.

1: Check Length – Stand on a piece of paper against a wall and put a dot in front of your big toe, and a dot at the back of your heel.

2: Measure the distance between front and back dots. This should be the length of your foot.

3: Ask yourself if you like your fins to fit snug, or not. Allow +/- 2-3 mm in length for your ideal comfort.

TIP:    If you’re still not sure, then order 2 pairs and return the unused pair that doesn’t fit, for a refund on the cost of the returned item.

Please view our size guide to ensure you get the right fit.

BEFORE YOU LODGE A RETURN

All feet are very different, so fitting a foot into a fixed shape foot cavity of moulded flexible material is an inexact science. Whilst our fins do not correlate directly to shoe sizes as the construction of fins and shoes are very different, we do suggest a close-to shoe size as a secondary size guide.

Fitting Your Fins:

DMC fins are made of a silicone-based material which offers maximum comfort, and like most polymers, care is required when putting the fin on without overstretching the strap.

Step 1: Push the fin as far onto the foot as possible before pulling the strap

Step 2: Lift the strap over the heel

Step 3: Adjust for comfort

Test Your Fin Size:

Put the fins on by pushing them onto your foot then use the strap to lift over the heel onto the ankle. Sit on a chair, extend your legs, and flex your ankle/foot out. This is your swimming position.

RETURN YOUR FINS

If your fins still don't feel right, you can return your unused fins in their original packaging for a refund.

Please lodge your return on our Returns Authorisation page: dmceu.returnscenter.com  Then jump online and reorder.

We do not process exchanges. We do not pay for return shipping, or refund shipping.
